Since I've been such a bad blogger, I thought I'd add a few more recent pictures. Ripley started walking right after halloween and has been on the go ever since.

Ripley's 1st birthday!!!

Ripley turns one!

Well, I'm officially a bad blogger. I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since I updated. Sorry! Ripley is doing great. She had her 1 year check up and is up to 16 lbs and 28.5 inches long. Tall and skinny! We are working on getting off the bottle but so far she hates milk. Ugh! Ripley also had an appointment with Dr. Kim (her surgeon) and he said she still looks good. He wants to see her in another year to check on her progress. Dr. Kim said someday we may want to do surgery to move some abdominal muscles closer to where they are supposed to be, but right now she's fine. Ripley has been walking since 10 months and is a strong little bugger too. So far, there's nothing she can't do. She is definitely trying to keep up with her big brother. Here are some recent pictures.

9 1/2 months

Time is flying!  Ripley is 9.5 months already and keeping us busy.  She is finally getting some teeth and has been trying to walk for a few weeks now.  I'm surprised she has not mastered it yet, but I guess we should enjoy her crawling!  Here are a few recent pictures of our happy girl.

I thought I'd update some photos.  Ripley is sitting up and also can stand and cruise around by herself.  Look out world... she's on the move!

7 months!

Ripley turned 7 months on the 29th.  Everything is still going well.  She met with Dr. B. and she weighed 12 lbs 7 oz.  Still a peanut, but she's is growing.  Ripley is eating like a champ and sweet potatoes are her favorite.  She has been working on crawling for a few weeks now.  She's almost there and has definitely mastered belly surfing!  Look out because she's on the move.  Dylan is the best big brother and loves his baby sister.  I'm sure that will all change soon when Ripley starts taking his toys!  Ripley's belly looks great.  I took some pictures but it's kind of hard to see.  It is healing very well and Dr. Kim did a great job.  So far Ripley is happy, healthy and has quite a personality.

Best buddies!

I can sit by myself...
for a few seconds anyway.

Ripley's belly at 7 months

I know I can do it!

wow, 6 months already!

It's been a busy 2 months.  Ripley is as active and happy as ever.  She had her 6 month checkup and once again got a thumbs up.  She's up to 25.5 inches long but only 11 lbs 12 oz.  She's our little peanut!  The doctor is not really concerned about her weight because she's growing. We will check her weight in a month and see how she's doing.  We went to the cardiologist last week and they did an EKG.  They did not hear any problems with her heart and think the holes have closed up.  We will do an eco on her heart in a year to make sure they are closed.  Ripley is now on solid foods and is doing well.  She's also rolling over, trying to sit up and babbling like crazy.  She'll be crawling before we know it!  Here are some pictures from the last 2
