9 1/2 months

Time is flying!  Ripley is 9.5 months already and keeping us busy.  She is finally getting some teeth and has been trying to walk for a few weeks now.  I'm surprised she has not mastered it yet, but I guess we should enjoy her crawling!  Here are a few recent pictures of our happy girl.

I thought I'd update some photos.  Ripley is sitting up and also can stand and cruise around by herself.  Look out world... she's on the move!

7 months!

Ripley turned 7 months on the 29th.  Everything is still going well.  She met with Dr. B. and she weighed 12 lbs 7 oz.  Still a peanut, but she's is growing.  Ripley is eating like a champ and sweet potatoes are her favorite.  She has been working on crawling for a few weeks now.  She's almost there and has definitely mastered belly surfing!  Look out because she's on the move.  Dylan is the best big brother and loves his baby sister.  I'm sure that will all change soon when Ripley starts taking his toys!  Ripley's belly looks great.  I took some pictures but it's kind of hard to see.  It is healing very well and Dr. Kim did a great job.  So far Ripley is happy, healthy and has quite a personality.

Best buddies!

I can sit by myself...
for a few seconds anyway.

I know I can do it!

HI!

wow, 6 months already!

It's been a busy 2 months.  Ripley is as active and happy as ever.  She had her 6 month checkup and once again got a thumbs up.  She's up to 25.5 inches long but only 11 lbs 12 oz.  She's our little peanut!  The doctor is not really concerned about her weight because she's growing. We will check her weight in a month and see how she's doing.  We went to the cardiologist last week and they did an EKG.  They did not hear any problems with her heart and think the holes have closed up.  We will do an eco on her heart in a year to make sure they are closed.  Ripley is now on solid foods and is doing well.  She's also rolling over, trying to sit up and babbling like crazy.  She'll be crawling before we know it!  Here are some pictures from the last 2
months.

4 Month checkup

Ripley saw Dr. B. today and she said Ripley looks perfect.  She weighs 10 lbs 4 oz and was almost 24 inches long.  She grew 3 inches!  I guess she'll be tall and skinny.  Ripley is trying her hardest to roll all the way over and tries to scoot on her back.  She seems to be a perfectly normal 4 month old and you would never know she had an omphalocele.  Truly amazing!  We are so blessed.

Here are some new pictures of Ripley.  She's still doing wonderful.  She has her 4 month checkup next week so we will update you on that.  Ripley now laughs, grabs toys and loves to smile, especially at her big brother!

12 weeks old

Wow, has it really been 4 weeks since we did an update?  Well, our girl is 12 weeks now and still doing great.  Her scar is looking good too.  They tried to make her a belly button and it didn't really work.  It's basically another scar in the middle of her belly.  Her stomach still sticks out a good bit, but they say that should go down over time.  Here are some pictures of her belly and some others.

Our rock n' roll baby!

I'm cute and I know it!

What are you looking at?

8 weeks old already!

Boy, how time flies!  Ripley was 8 weeks old yesterday.  She is doing great.  She's smiling all the time and holding her head up.  She is starting to be awake a little more, but still likes her beauty sleep.

I can hold my head up!
