wow, 6 months already!

It's been a busy 2 months.  Ripley is as active and happy as ever.  She had her 6 month checkup and once again got a thumbs up.  She's up to 25.5 inches long but only 11 lbs 12 oz.  She's our little peanut!  The doctor is not really concerned about her weight because she's growing. We will check her weight in a month and see how she's doing.  We went to the cardiologist last week and they did an EKG.  They did not hear any problems with her heart and think the holes have closed up.  We will do an eco on her heart in a year to make sure they are closed.  Ripley is now on solid foods and is doing well.  She's also rolling over, trying to sit up and babbling like crazy.  She'll be crawling before we know it!  Here are some pictures from the last 2

  1. I have been waiting for some updates!! Ripley looks great, where in NY did you visit?

  2. I'm so glad she's doing so well. We recently found out that our baby has an omphalocele as well. At first I was terrified, but stories like yours are giving me hope. She is beautiful!

  3. OMG! Those dimples are the cutest thing ever! She is growing up so fast :)

  4. Hi there! My baby girl has an omphalocele too and it gives me great hope for the future when I see how happy and active Ripley is at 6 months. She is such a cutie!
